
About the Role
Are you passionate about providing young people with exciting and meaningful extracurricular opportunities? We are looking for an Enrichment Lead to join Yarrow Heights School and drive forward an engaging, purposeful, and inclusive enrichment programme that enhances the pupil experience.
As Enrichment Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering a diverse programme of extracurricular activities that complement the main curriculum. You will work closely with staff, pupils, and external organisations to ensure that all activities are engaging, safe, and impactful, helping our students develop new skills, broaden their horizons, and enjoy enriching experiences beyond the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead an inspiring enrichment programme that balances engagement with educational value.
• Ensure all activities contribute to pupil development, promoting new interests and skills.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities to ensure quality and impact.
• Oversee risk assessments and ensure all necessary safety precautions are in place.
• Manage the enrichment budget effectively, sourcing high-quality materials and resources.
• Build and maintain external partnerships with organisations, charities, and businesses.
• Coordinate offsite activities, ensuring all safeguarding and logistical requirements are met.
• Design and maintain the enrichment timetable, ensuring activities are well-organised and staffed.
• Inspire and support staff in delivering engaging and high-quality enrichment opportunities.

Yarrow Heights School is a mixed 7-19, local authority funded, SEN day school for children, most of who are able learners with an EHCP and a diagnosis with ASC and associated needs.
