About the Role

The role of the Learning Support Assistant is support pupils with special educational needs as well as to support their social and emotional needs. You could be providing either 1:1 support or assisting teaching staff with groups of children. You will support with pupil development as well as encouraging pupils to participate in enrichment activities and other activities provided by the class teacher.
You will promote high aspirations for all pupils and a positive ethos within the school whilst ensuring a therapeutic approach to encourage and nurture development.


We are looking for exceptional team players who are able to support our teachers in their classrooms, working with children aged 7-16 with SEN needs. The school delivers an integrated therapeutic approach, alongside a technology led curriculum, with dedicated family liaison to support engagement and inclusion. About the Company

Yarrow Heights School is a mixed 7-16, local authority funded, SEN day school for children, most of who have high functioning ASD.
