About the Role

As a Maths Teacher at Yarrow Heights School, you will play a vital role in fostering mathematical literacy and confidence among students from Key Stage 2 (KS2) to Key Stage 4 (KS4). Your primary purpose will be to create an engaging and supportive learning environment where pupils of all abilities can develop their mathematical skills, critical thinking abilities, and problem-solving techniques.

Requirements

Ideal Candidates Will:

· Have a contagious enthusiasm for teaching Maths.

· Have a degree in Maths or related subject.

· Demonstrate talent, passion and innovation in teaching.

· Possess a genuine desire to inspire our children and young people.

· Have experience in SEN settings or a strong desire to work in one.

· Exhibit excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.

· Be self-motivated, reliable, and a resilient, positive team player.

About the Company

Yarrow Heights School is a mixed 7-19, local authority funded, SEN day school for children, most of who are able learners with an EHCP and a diagnosis with ASC and associated needs.

Job Details:
Full-time.
Salary: £40,000 to £47,000 DOE
Location: Southampton, SO18 1FS.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: Teaching experience in mainstream and/or SEN secondary schools.
Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required; Newly qualified teachers welcome to apply.
