Yesterday afternoon the girls football team represented Yarrow Heights at Goals Southampton and faced a narrow defeat with a final score of 10-12 against Coxlease School.
Despite the result reflecting a loss, the match will be remembered for the incredible resilience and sportsmanship displayed by our girls. Their hard work in training was clear to see as they played some excellent passing and moving football, scoring 10 well taken goals and working tirelessly for each other throughout. We showcased remarkable resilience by continuously battling back from being behind and not giving up. Although they ended running out of time to turn over the 2-goal deficit, they were all smiles as they recognised their improvement and excellent sportsmanship!
