YARROW HEIGHTS is built to be different. We exist to provide a unique service for children with a specific profile within SEN education.

We value the partnerships we develop with local authorities and make great efforts to understand their needs. We seek to learn as much as we can about the children they are helping and are always open to dialogue.

Our curriculum is built on the National Curriculum, with enhancements around Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Physical Education, Enrichment, Drama and Play Therapy.

Our therapeutic model is built on a solid base of experience, with a diverse therapeutic team.

We place huge value on our relationship with the families of our children. We develop personal plans with every child and consult closely with parents at every step of the way.

We welcome parent visits. If you would like to arrange a visit, please contact our Head of Admissions on 07551 801151.

Your journey with us begins long before your child starts their first school day at Yarrow Heights. The profile of children we seek is specific and there is good reason to be selective. Our pupils have a range of needs that rule out both mainstream and specialist behavioural schools.

We work with you from the outset to learn your child’s situation and particular needs. Once we agree that Yarrow Heights is the appropriate choice we begin a careful process of transition. This includes multiple visits both online and in person for you and your child. We aim to ensure our pupils feel at home from day one.

“The wonderful staff have the time, patience and knowledge to help my child to achieve their full potential."
