Nurture class visited a Buddhist temple as part of their religious studies curriculum. Mr Dhammavijaya helped our young learners understand the significance of the Buddhist temple and its role in the Buddhist community. At the temple, with the guidance of Mr Dhammavijaya, pupils were taken on a guided tour of the temple and took part in a meditation workshop in the temple itself. They were guided through the Buddhist technique of âmindfulness of breathingâ as an aid to calming the mind and experiencing peace.
